One man and one woman have been arrested following a recent alleged high-speed chase that wound through several cities in San Patricio County with alleged speeds up to 125 miles per hour, according to San Patricio County Sheriff Oscar Rivera.
Macy Ann Carey, 24, and Juan Garcia, 25, have both been arrested and taken into custody following the alleged chase according to Rivera.
Rivera said Carey has been charged with abandoning/endangering a child, evading arrest, and reckless driving with a bond set at $25,000. Garcia has been charged with evading arrest, abandoning/endangering a child, theft of firearms, and unlawful carrying of a weapon in San Patricio County in addition to an outstanding warrant for a charge of assault on a peace officer in Travis County according to Rivera.
