LUBBOCK, Texas — The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Investigation Unit is seeking help from the community in its investigation of a West Lubbock hit-and-run crash.
The crash occurred back on February 28 in the 6300 block of 66th Street. According to LPD, officers responded to the scene around 11:45 p.m. and located a Nissan Altima with damage on its front bumper.
LBK multi-agency sting nets 6 for solicitation crimes
Throughout the investigation, police discovered a truck was leaving a parking lot when it hit the Altima, which was parked, and later left the scene after the crash. LPD is asking for information in locating this truck and its driver. It is described as a dark-colored truck with three orange-colored lights on the front grill.
