Bryant awarded $824K grant for part of Southwest Trail, connecting schools and neighborhoods

The City of Bryant has been awarded an $824,800 grant to build a new multi-use trail that will connect key parts of the city, including two schools. The city will contribute an additional $206,200 to complete the project.

The funding comes from Metroplan’s Climate Pollution Reduction Grant program and will support Phase 1 of the Southwest Trail Connector. This phase will create a new trail linking the Bryant Parkway Trail to Highway 183 (Reynolds Road).
