(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said on March 12, a motorcycle passenger, identified as 30-year-old Ashley Moore, passed away at the hospital after a crash on Highway 24 between a motorcycle and a pickup truck on March 5.
According to CSPD, on March 5 at around 6 p.m., officers responded to Highway 24 and 21st Street on a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck. Officers determined the motorcycle was heading east on Highway 24 at a high rate of speed when the pickup made a right turn on red from 21st Street to Highway 24. The motorcycle rear-ended the pickup, causing both the motorcycle rider and passenger to be ejected.
Both motorcycle occupants received immediate on-scene medical intervention, and both were transported to a hospital with critical injuries…
