Sandoval County’s animal shelter is $9,500 richer after earning recognition for its holiday adoption efforts — money that will go directly toward getting more pets ready for their forever homes.
The county’s Animal Care Services received an $8,500 award from the Helen Woodward/Blue Buffalo Home 4 the Holidays Initiative, which recognizes shelters that boost adoption activities between October and December, the county announced March 27. This needs more.
