FIRESTONE, Colo. — A man is in serious condition after being tased by a park ranger and a police officer in St. Vrain State Park, the 19th Judicial Critical Incident Response Team said.
On Sunday at 12:25 p.m., a Colorado Parks and Wildlife ranger initiated a traffic stop on a suspected impaired driver inside St. Vrain State Park in Firestone, according to a media release from CPW. The suspect, a man, refused to comply with commands, became aggressive and assaulted the ranger, CPW said. The ranger deployed his Taser, but it was ineffective.
