A new cat-only boarding hotel, Whiskers Lodge, is set to officially open on April 6 at 4250 Aurora Ave N in Fremont.
Owner Kip Brookbank says the space will open with two separate “pods”: Whispering Cedar, which includes 10 suites (four deluxe and six classic), and Ginkgo Perch, which includes four suites (two deluxe and two classic). Each pod has its own dedicated enrichment space, where cats take turns for playtime or can be out with their family. Cats are not mixed with unfamiliar animals…
