AUGUSTA, Ga (WJBF) Welcome to Career Day in Charletta Osborne’s class. A chance for her 4th-graders to go beyond the textbook and learn about opportunities in the real world.
“We have a lot of vendors that have come out to kind of just expose our kids to the career paths they can take when they graduate,” Osborne says. “And I’m so thankful because it’s a very exciting day. They get to see job that we tell them about outside of the class. You know, we’re in class and they’re wondering, why do I have to learn that? Well, this is why. So you can have careers that you see here today.”
