Asheville Police detectives have charged a second person in connection with the March 8 shooting downtown.
Ashonta Foursha Basnight, 28, has been charged with three counts of felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, five counts of assault with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm in city limits.
