KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A tribute to skateboarding legend Trey McReynolds, more commonly known as Colonel Bacchus, now hangs at Pluto Sports in Cedar Bluff. It’s in the form of a glowing skateboard that hangs alongside a collection of Trey’s skateboard art: intricate structures he created out of broken boards.
Trey passed away in August 2025 after a lifetime of creativity. He built a reputation online and locally for his offbeat, inventive skateboarding videos. He also worked as a local DJ and hosted “The Colonel Bacchus Radio Show” on WUTK and 94Z.
