More than a dozen dogs with badly matted fur were recently found abandoned at Pelona Vista Park in Palmdale.
Officers with the Los Angeles County Animal Care Center in Palmdale responded to the park and found 16 dogs covered in dirt and poop.
“It’s a call we couldn’t believe when it came in over the radio: ‘Multiple loose small dogs appear left abandoned in the park,’” the animal shelter wrote on social media. “And it was exactly that.”
The dogs have since been vaccinated and are in foster care. The animal shelter is now asking for the public’s help finding out how the dogs got there…
