WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — An Ohio transportation company is in the hot seat after a lawsuit was filed on behalf of a Kentucky man killed in a fiery interstate crash last year.
On Sept. 12, 2025, John McBroom, a 39-year-old truck driver from Crittenden, left for work and never came home.
Traffic was backed up that day on I-64 in Woodford County due to construction. Around mile marker 61, another truck driver, Matthew Jackson, crashed into multiple vehicles, including McBroom’s, triggering a massive fire that killed them both and a third person.
