Clay, N.Y. — A fixture for more than two decades, the Rite Aid drugstore at Sweetheart Corner in Clay closed in June.
Now the property has been sold and is targeted to be redeveloped into a building with several restaurants and possibly a bank.
The Gelsomin Family Limited Partnership sold the property at 5380 W. Taft Road and 102 1/2 Wally Road in late February for $4.9 million. The buyer is 5380 Sweetheart Corner LLC, according to Onondaga County property records…
