$1.5M fine, max of life in prison advised for Philadelphia man for robbing Brinks trucks

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WHP) — A Philadelphia man pleaded guilty to two counts of Hobbs Act robbery and five counts of attempted Hobbs Act robbery, among other charges, in court on March 27, according to the Department of Justice.

Mujahid Davis, 24, pleaded guilty after being indicted in January, alongside Dante Shackleford, 26, also of Philadelphia.

Court details revealed that Davis robbed a Brinks truck in Philadelphia on July 2, 2025, and attempted to rob another Brinks truck on July 15 and Oct. 3. He also admitted to robbing a Brinks truck in Elkins Park on Aug. 12…
