The National Weather Service issued an updated severe thunderstorm warning at 9:11 p.m. on Tuesday in effect until 9:45 p.m. for Franklin and Worcester counties.
The storms are packing wind gusts of up to 60 mph and penny-sized hail (0.75 inches).
“At 9:10 p.m., severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Guilford Center to Shelburne to near Williamsburg, moving east at 45 mph,” says the weather service. “Expect damage to trees and power lines.”…
