HINDS COUNTY – A 19-year-old man wanted on a capital murder warrant out of Hinds County was arrested Sunday night after deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash in Jones County.
The crash happened around 8:29 p.m. at Moselle Seminary Road and U.S. Highway 11, according to the Jones County Sheriff’s Department. Authorities said the wreck was blocking lanes of traffic when deputies arrived.
Deputies Kalob Broadway and Will Ladd responded to the scene and, during the crash investigation, determined that one of the vehicle’s occupants, Zachary Stevens, was listed in the FBI’s National Crime Information Center database as wanted by the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office on a capital murder warrant…
