A Downtown Boise staple is doubling down in the heart of the capital city and will say goodbye to its suburban outpost.
Idaho Mountain Touring owner Chris Haunold will close the Meridian location at 1739 W. Cherry Ln. on April 16h. The Meridain store opened in 2012, replacing a former Video Gallery video rental store. Haunold said the move is about focus for the business and his employees.
“We’re not going out of business, we’re not going bankrupt,” he said. “We’re closing the satellite store as the valley has changed. It was a great, great location, but traffic and all the changes – it was distracting from the main store.”…
