SALT LAKE CITY — The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Monday evening announced future adjustments to the Sunday second-hour meeting schedule.
Beginning Sept. 6, 2026, the alternating weekly schedule for second-hour classes will be replaced with a schedule that includes shortened Sunday School and quorum or class meetings.
Church leaders said in a news release Monday evening that the changes are intended “to support members in their efforts to be lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ. The adjustments will strengthen gospel learning in homes and congregations throughout the world.”…
