We’re a long way from Italy, but there are lots of places to get a great plate of pasta in the Portland area. The latest category of The Oregonian/OregonLive’s Readers Choice Awards is ready to determine which of those places stand above the others.

The name is what an Italian mother might cry out to summon her dawdling children — “Ah-Chayna,” meaning “To dinner!” This trattoria in the Sellwood neighborhood serves handmade pasta and cured meats with a focus on local ingredients. Offerings include a lobster agnolotti with corn and mascarpone raviolini, and an eggplant Parmesan made with house-pulled mozzarella.
