UPPER MACUNGIE TOWNSHIP, Pa. – An Allentown man has been convicted by a jury on charges he strangled the mother of his child and told her not to testify during his trial, according to the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office.
Dallas Young, 31, of Allentown, was charged in December 2024 with felony charges of Strangulation – Applying Pressure to Throat or Neck and Endangering the Welfare of Children – Parent Commits Offense and lesser charges of Simple Assault and Harassment, according to officials.
Not long after his arrest, Young was also charged with misdemeanor charges of Intimidation of Witness/Victim Elude/Evade/Ignore and Intimidation of Witness/Victim – Disobey Summons, authorities said…
