CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Two Charleston restaurants are earning national recognition as finalists for the prestigious James Beard Awards, often considered the highest honors in the American culinary industry.
Merci, a European-inspired bistro located at the corner of Pitt and Montagu streets, is a finalist for best new restaurant, while Weltons Tiny Bakeshop on King Street is a finalist for outstanding bakery.
