CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A Chesapeake native is part of the team behind one of NASA’s most anticipated missions in decades.
Andre Douglas, a graduate of Western Branch High School, has been named a backup crew member for NASA’s Artemis II mission, which is scheduled to launch on Wednesday. The mission marks a major step forward in NASA’s effort to return humans to the Moon.
