NASA is set to launch its historic Artemis II mission Wednesday, sending astronauts around the moon for the first time in more than 50 years and marking a major step toward future lunar landings.
The mission is scheduled to lift off at 3:24 p.m. PDT (6:24 p.m. ET) from Kennedy Space Center in Florida, carrying four astronauts aboard the Orion spacecraft atop NASA’s Space Launch System rocket.
