Cleveland Manhunt Heats Up as Sheriff Seeks Tips on Duo in Violent Robberies

The search is on in Cuyahoga County, where the sheriff’s office is asking residents to help track down two men wanted in separate violent robberies. Investigators on Tuesday released photos of the suspects, identified as 23-year-old Keyjuan Bates, who is listed on an aggravated-robbery charge, and 35-year-old Dewaun Willis, who is wanted on robbery and aggravated-assault counts. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for tips that lead to an arrest and indictment, and the sheriff is pushing anyone with information to use the anonymous tip line.

The images and brief case write-ups were shared in a Facebook post that placed both men on the agency’s most-wanted list and highlighted potential reward eligibility, according to the Cuyahoga County Sheriff. More detailed descriptions for each man appear on the Crime Stoppers wanted roster. Bates is listed as born Nov. 10, 2002, about 5-foot-7 and 175 pounds. Willis is listed as born Jan. 8, 1991, about 5-foot-6 and 140 pounds. Both are identified as Black males, according to Crime Stoppers of Cuyahoga County.

Anyone with information about Bates or Willis is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (216) 252-7463 or submit an anonymous tip online. Tipsters may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000, according to Crime Stoppers of Cuyahoga County.
