REEDLEY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A Reedley doctor has to pay $20,000 after being issued a public reprimand for jokes he made in the office.
The California Medical Board issued the decision on Friday against physician and surgeon Jonathan Joseph Mayer.
According to court documents, Mayer “made inappropriate and unprofessional statements” to a pregnant patient in 2022, including saying, “Who wants a party in the vagina, no wait, that already happened.”…
