GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — As of Wednesday, more than 6,400 property owners in Guilford County have challenged their latest tax valuations, according to Tax Director Ben Chavis.
The county mailed out more than 207,000 reappraisal notices this cycle. So far, the majority of appeals are from homeowners, with about 180 filed by commercial property owners.
