TPD arrests driver in deadly northwest Tallahassee pedestrian hit-and-run

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A woman is accused of leaving the scene of a crash that killed a pedestrian in Northwest Tallahassee last month, according to a probable cause affidavit.

The hit-and-run occurred March 5 on Capital Circle Northwest and the 4400 block of West Tennessee Street, according to law enforcement. The victim, identified as Marvin Calhoun, sustained serious injuries from the incident and later died at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

Tallahassee Police released photos following the crash in hopes of identifying the driver. According to the probable cause affidavit, authorities identified the driver through license plate records, the vehicle description and car insurance records…
