Officers were called to the 900 block of Barclay Street around 1 a.m. for reports of a man armed with a knife, according to Delaware County District Attorney’s Office.
When police entered the home, they found the man actively attacking a woman with the weapon and ignoring commands to drop it, the DA’s office told the press. An officer then fired at least one shot, striking the suspect.
