Walmart is closing a fulfillment center in Worcester, Massachusetts, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act notice.
Ninety employees will be impacted by the closure, with layoffs slated to start May 29, per the notice.
Associates will be able to transfer to nearby facilities or other Walmart locations nationwide, a Walmart spokesperson told Supply Chain Dive in an email.
