After getting several calls from residents about a stray dog happily roaming around Arlington, Texas, Animal Services knew it was time to step in.
The cheerful Pit Bull mix, who was later given the name Bitsy, had been making her way through neighborhoods, saying hello to just about everyone she met.
Thankfully, one day she stopped at the home of a kindhearted local. That little pause made it much easier for Officer Allex Pollard to find her and get her somewhere safe.
