Helen Hunt, the iconic actress from Twister and As Good as It Gets, just made El Paso the star of the show in a short documentary series called USA Through Film. Presented by GoUSA TV and produced by BBC StoryWorks, the two-minute video captures the heart and soul of the Sun City, and as a proud El Pasoan, I couldn’t be more thrilled!
Hunt takes viewers on a whirlwind tour of some of our city’s most vibrant spots. From the stunning Plaza Theatre to a lively lucha libre show, the segment also highlights our incredible culinary scene with Chef Emiliano Marentes, the artistry of Christin Apodaca, and the one-of-a-kind creations by Nevena Christi at Rocketbuster Boots. She describes El Paso as a place where cultures blend seamlessly, saying, “One of the unique things about El Paso is the exchange of cultures and the blending of Mexican and American sensibilities, whether it’s about food or art.”
