Springfield, Mo. (KOLR) – The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for most of Southwest Missouri as conditions are favorable for a few isolated tornadoes.
This watch places Greene, Polk, Texas, Pulaski, Henry, Camden, Jasper, and Lawrence counties, along with 20 additional counties, in a tornado watch for this evening.
The focus for severe weather stays along a warm front slowly lifting north near Hwy 54. This will act as a trigger mechanism for severe storm development, mainly north of a Lamar to Camdenton line.
