ST. LOUIS – A woman was killed in a shooting Tuesday night in north St. Louis.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD), the shooting occurred shortly after 9 p.m. in the 5100 block of Cote Brilliante in the city’s Kingsway West neighborhood.
The victim, a 55-year-old woman, was critically injured and was later pronounced dead at a hospital. The suspect is in custody, police said.
