MARION COUNTY, Ore. — Oregon State Police are searching for a 28-year-old woman who disappeared after leaving her vehicle along Highway 22 last week under unusual circumstances.
Maria Linda Jade Kilmer was last seen around 9 p.m. on March 28 near milepost 15, according to investigators. Authorities said Kilmer had been traveling from Lyons to Salem with a passenger when their vehicle ran out of gas.
The passenger told police that Kilmer left the scene with an unidentified motorist who had stopped to help. She reportedly left behind all of her personal belongings, including her keys, purse, identification and cellphone…
