Oregon restaurant wins national grant for zero-waste practices

CARLTON, Ore. β€” A Carlton restaurant has won a national award for putting local sourcing and zero-waste at the forefront.

Hayward, about an hour southwest of Portland, was one of 40 restaurants selected nationwide for a $25,000 grant as part of the International Restaurant Coalition’s inaugural Innovator Awards.
