ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The Alaska Zoo welcomed a new Canadian lynx named Marty this week, and he’s already making friends with longtime resident Julie — and helping her deal with noisy wolverine neighbors.
Marty comes to Alaska from Seattle and is already adjusting to his new habitat.
Zoo curator Sam Lavin says she was nervous about the adjustment. “The weather is very different. We are very cold this year, so I was a little worried,” Lavin said. “We gave him some extra heat sources when he got here, but he adjusted phenomenal.”…
