NORTH CAROLINA — Authorities are investigating a homicide in western North Carolina, according to officials in Madison County.
Deputies with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call around 1:20 a.m. Tuesday on Franklin Mountain Road in the Laurel community. Details about what led to the call or the circumstances surrounding the death have not been released.
