ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. (WCBD) – The Isle of Palms Police Department says an alleged large gathering promoted on social media as a “beach takeover” is not permitted and will not be allowed to take place.
Police said they are aware of a flyer advertising the event, which was scheduled for this weekend, and will increase law enforcement presence throughout the area.
