CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A 26-year-old man was found guilty on Wednesday and sentenced to life in prison for his role in the death of a 7-month-old, according to the Mecklenburg County District Attorney.
District Attorney Spencer Meriweather on Wednesday, April 1, said that now 26-year-old Zaki Davis was found guilty for first-degree murder in the death of 7-month-old Israel Williams in December 2021. A judge sentenced Davis to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
