I-Team: Community activists start petition campaign to recall Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb

CLEVELAND (WJW) — A group of activists said they are starting a petition campaign to recall Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb.

Members of Accountable Cleveland Era set a news conference for 5 p.m. Monday, April 6, on the steps of Cleveland City Hall.

“We want to emphasize that this petition is not a personal attack on Mayor Bibb or his administration,” reads the news release. “Instead, it is a collective effort to hold our elected officials accountable and to remind our city leaders that Cleveland deserves better governance, transparency, and responsible leadership. This initiative is rooted in our commitment to ensuring that our city’s resources are used effectively and that our voices are heard.”
