Cleveland trash pile brings pests to east side neighborhood

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A trash pile at a vacant home on Dickens Avenue has drawn complaints from neighbors who say the problem has persisted for more than a month and is attracting pests.

Shirley, a resident whose family has owned her home since 1947, said the property at 9426 Dickens Avenue has fallen into disrepair.

“Nothing has been done except trash being dumped and piled in the driveway, so it’s just a little discouraging,” Shirley said…
