Nelson-Jameson expanding Fairview location

(WJET/WFXP)– After opening about seven months ago, Nelson-Jameson announced they’re making a what they called a significant investment in their Fairview location that opened up last year to help dairy producers in the area.

The food distributor said they’re adding cold storage to the Fairview distribution center for cultures used to make cheese and other dairy products for better service and streamlined deliveries in the northeast region.

Nelson-Jameson also said they’re using reusable shipping containers for delivering cultures as part of an initiative they launched in 2025.

The company’s executive vice president of operations said the addition of cold storage at the center is just the beginning and will help expand what they can do in the region.
