FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — A Forsyth County man will spend several decades in prison after he was found guilty of attempted murder and a slew of other charges in court on March 27, 2026.
According to the Forsyth County District Attorney’s Office, Anthony Carpenter Jr. forcibly entered his child’s mother’s home after midnight on Dec. 31, 2024. He confronted and shot Brandon Jackson in the neck. These injuries left Jackson paralyzed from the shoulders down.
