Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office released a photo Wednesday of a woman they said scammed a veteran using fake money to purchase his vehicle.
JSO said the woman responded to a Facebook Marketplace ad in July 2025 where the veteran advertised selling his SUV. The woman responded to the ad showing up with an envelope containing what appeared to be cash.
