Authorities are searching for a man accused of stealing several plants from a Los Angeles County home improvement store and driving away without paying.
The incident happened March 19 shortly before 7 a.m. at the Lowe’s location at 39500 Lowe’s Drive in Palmdale.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the suspect selected 10 jasmine plants and loaded them into the bed of his pickup truck. Investigators say he left the store without paying and did not return.
