Versailles family diagnosed with extremely rare genetic disorder asks for help

VERSAILLES, Ky. (FOX 56) — What started as years of unanswered questions for one teenager has quickly turned into a life-altering diagnosis for an entire Woodford County family.

A few weeks ago, Sean Anderson and all three of his children—Zoey, 27, Myles, 23, and Lucy, 17—learned they have Loeys-Dietz Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects the body’s connective tissue.

Now, the family is also waiting for test results for their granddaughter, Eleanor, as they begin to navigate what this means for their future.
