(FOX40.COM) — A months-long investigation into suspected drug activity in West Sacramento led to the arrest of a suspect on multiple felony charges.
According to the West Sacramento Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, it began looking into the case in February after noticing an increase in non-local foot traffic and a rise in fentanyl overdoses in the community. Detectives identified a location of interest and obtained search warrants for two motel rooms.
Earlier this week, West Sacramento police said its investigators conducted surveillance and stopped a vehicle connected to the case away from the motel. The driver was detained without incident as officers served the search warrants…
