Every summer in Central New York comes with traditions. Fireworks. Lake days. Backyard cookouts. For my family and friends, one tradition we look forward to all year is the Beak & Skiff Summer Concert Series.
If you have never stood on that hill in LaFayette as the sun sets over the apple orchard and the music begins to fill the air, you are missing one of the true gifts of living here. It is not just a concert. It is a feeling. It is a gathering place. And it is a reminder that some of the best nights of our lives do not happen in big cities. They happen right here on a hill in LaFayette.
