After a two-week closure amid controversy, Caninballz Indoor Dog Waterpark in West Toledo has splashed back into business with new employees and updated infrastructure, owner Millie Hopes said.
In early March, all Caninballz employees quit on the spot after they shared concerns of what they thought were unsafe practices. They communicated feelings of unsafe pool temperatures for the dogs, slippery floors, and not waiting long enough to let the dogs use the pool after the water was treated.
