AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The city of Amarillo has begun removing non-compliant crosswalks and pavement markings across the city following a statewide directive from TxDOT.
The directive follows a statewide order issued in October 2025 requiring local jurisdictions to ensure roadway markings comply with state and federal standards.
